Baby starts teething from the age of 6 months to 1 year The first teeth to appear are the lower incisors SIGNS OF TEETHING 1. Excessive drooling 2. Irritability 3. Excessive chewing 4. Sore or Tender gums 5. Diarrhea 6. Slight fever 7. Eruption Cyst 8. Redness of gums. HOW TO HELP YOUR BABY 1. Massage your gums. Whenever gums are sore and tender, babies often tend to be fussier during nighttime. So if they wake up often time try soothing their gums by massaging gums gently with your fingers. Lay them on the bed and do a gentle gum massage with your fingers 2. Get Cold Washcloth. You can find a clean cloth, soak it in water and wring out the water until it's damp.
